Sago Pearl Smoothie:
Ingredients :
- 50g sago pearls
- 2 cups water (to cook the sago pearls)
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk for a vegan option)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, etc.)
- 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (adjust to your preference)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Preparation :

Cooking sago pearls: In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the sago pearls and simmer until translucent. This may take 20-30 minutes. Drain the pearls and rinse in cold water to remove excess starch. Reserve.

In a blender, combine the banana, red fruits, milk and honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth.

If you want a cooler smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and add the cooked sago pearls.

Mix well and enjoy!
This sago pearl smoothie is not only delicious but also very filling thanks to the unique texture of the pearls. You can adjust the fruits according to the season and your preferences.
